This is a collection of recordings from 2016 & early 2017. The first 3 tracks, 'Nature', 'Next', & 'Nocturnal' are from our Leafblower E.P. released in May 2016. 'No More' & 'Psychedello' released in October 2016. 'We Die' was recorded as our final E.P. This was recorded in Feb/March 2017, released in September 2017.

Tainted Milk is a high energy alternative rock band from the SF Bay Area. Being music fans for their whole lives, Will & Ivan decided to pick up their instruments and put a band together in 2014. Making music on and off between going to college, they finally released their first E.P. after bassist Paul joined the band. Their idea for this band was influenced by '90's alternative rock bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead as well as modern acts such as Tame Impala. Their sound involves a heavy emphasis on groove and creative musicianship anchored by their drummer who has never had a single drum lesson and learned to play by ear. Paul and Will on the other hand, have been practicing their instruments for a lot of their lives. Their taste in progressive music also shows through their challenging musicianship and songwriting.

"Nature v.s. the Leafblower" was written after Paul joined in early 2016 and paved the way for future songs with its infectious riff and hard rock groove. "Next Chapter" was written in 2015 before Paul joined and was heavily influenced by the funk-rock of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as their love for progressive music. The song slows down unexpectedly to a mid-tempo groove halfway through the song and transitions to an intense, heavy section, only to return to the high energy funky riff that started the song. "Nocturnal Lady" continues the high energy funk rock theme with their most obvious tribute to the RHCP.

Next up is "No More" which demonstrates an evolution in the band's musicianship and chemistry. Each instrument is totally locked into the groove. This is one of their most complete songs to date, and one they are proud of. "Psychedello" takes a huge turn in terms of tempo and sound. This one is slow and atmospheric. Psychedelic.

Finally, "We Die" is a combination of all their elements into their latest progression. We're proud of these songs and we think they serve as a very fitting end to the project. 'We Die' is a dynamic hard rocker, while 'With Time', the final track, is a very mellow & vibey groover.

With the release of "We Die", Tainted Milk has gone inactive.
